2015 f350, rear passenger window will not roll back up. Replaced the motor and regulator. Probe light shows power through both switches and into the plug for the motor. Will roll down but not up with both new and old motor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Does it make any effort to roll-up or does the motor just not engage?
If it tries and fails, check for physical blockages, then try this:
To override a bounce-back condition, within two seconds after the
window reaches the bounce-back position, pull and hold the switch up
and the window will travel up with no bounce-back or pinch
protection. If the switch is released before the window is fully closed,
the window will stop. For example, this can be used to overcome the
resistance of ice on the window or seals.
Maybe it's the switch? Can you supply power directly to the motor and will it go up?
When I unplug the harness at the motor, I have power up and down when I activate the master switch on the front door and with the switch on the rear door. Seems as if I have power all the way to the motor.
You also need to check and make sure you have ground. Someone may have a diagram or a shop manual diagnostic procedure. Sorry I don't for anything past early 80's.
