Power window problems

I am having trouble with my rear drivers side power window. The window will go down but not back up. I assumed the motor was bad so I purchased a new regulator and motor. Got new parts installed new motor goes down, but will not come back up. I've checked fuses, relays, etc what's my next step?

Did you try exchanging the actual switch from the good side? First thing I would have checked before spending any $. Just my .02

LivingLarge yes I have done that. I am debating now if I should open one of the other doors and plug the supposed bad motor in to see if it will go both ways there. I am wondering if it is an electrical problem.

Did you replace the entire track or just the motor? Could be something binding in the track

Check in the rubber wire boot that the wires run thru to the door. Wires are known to fray in that area from repeated door use.

Tight area to reconnect wiring in also. Ask me how I know.
