Steering column replacement....
I have a 1986 F150 with a manual. I'm making a bunch of changes for preference, adding A/C cruise control and some goodies. I've gathered a bunch of parts and I'd like to go with a more modern steering column. I'm wondering what year column might bolt into my truck, something with cruise control buttons and maybe a multi switch turn signal. It would be great if the turn signal switch had the wiper controls and high beam selector right there. I have a couple of harnesses and am going to rewire most of the truck so I think the multi switch would help to keep my harness compact. Any column on up to present day if it will fit without too much fab work. I haven't owned many Fords so I don't know what to look for yet. What are your suggestions?
