Factory Bluetooth Module?

Anyone know where the factory BT module is located?

The other day while listening to music, I hit a bump and my bluetooth cut out, then came back about 5 minutes later. Almost as if it lost connection to the stereo then reconnected....wondering if something isn't connected securely...

Not aware of a separate bluetooth module. I suspect it is built into another module such as the SYNC module or ???.....the guys at 4DTECH might can help you.

I was thinking maybe the APIM behind the glovebox, but I'm not sure.

You might be right, but, I would think the SYNC module as SYNC is the one that uses the voice commands and pairs your phone. Check the connectors on the SYNC module. It is located on the A pillar behind the TPMS module. Drop the glove box and it will be mounted in the A pillar (door post)

This photo taken in 2012 is from a 2011 I owned that I updated the radio to a NAV unit. The photo is taken through the glove box opening. The module in front is the TPMS module and the module with honey comb shapes is the SYNC module. Hope it helps if you are trying to check the connector on the SYNC module.
