Temperature Gauge Doesn't Move
I have a 2000 Explorer Xlt 4x4 Now here's the problem I can drive this thing for hours and the temp gauge never moves past cold I doesn't overheat and it gets good heat so Im wondering if maybe it could be like a stuck thermostat or maybe a bad sending unit
any suggestions?

You don't have a stuck thermostat. Unless you live where it is always hot all the time. Start your rig when cold and take the radiator cap off. Watch the coolant. When the thermostat opens the coolant will start to flow. It will be fast enough that you will know that the thermostat opened. I would venture to say that the sending unit is bad on your rig. Could also be the gauge itself is BO.
I'd try the sending unit first. That's the easiest and cheapest to try.

so anyway today was the first day I've had off in like three weeks so I decide to decarb my engine today I had a real nasty carb build up I so any way I do this and I take it out to test it when I was done and the temp gauge starts working so I have no Idea what might have been wrong but the gauge is working fine
