Hi.... 2017 F350 srw 6.2 I see that my drive shaft has a shiny area on it, where it meets the transmission rubber dust seal. Should there be that much play in the spline? seems to be moving about an inch....in or out. I think its normal?
Totally normal. As your rear end moves up and down, your driveshaft moves in and out. And movement from transfer case, everything is mounted in rubber so it's perfectly normal.
