Solid Lug Nuts

Any recommendations for solid lug nuts for my 2018 F250 with factory 20’s? Original nuts are deformed after 15,000 miles and one rotation. Dealer will replace under warranty, but they only have the factory nuts that are clad, which is causing the issue to begin with.
Oh, and my SD came with the wrong lug nut wrench. Found out the hard way...

I use the spline lug nuts. Solid grip, no stripping.....

keep a breaker bar with the proper socket too; makes it easy to get off if necessary

Those look nice, anyone use those? I noticed during my FIRST rotation, so this is the first time I've even put a lug wrench to my lugs, that a lot were deformed and it looked like on some the socket slipped off and twisted the tops slightly. Not impressed, but I know since the 00's that they have those crappy style lug nuts.

I have two F350's and both have the splined lug nuts. I am very happy with them. The older of my two trucks has had the wheels off/on numerous times with no issues.

Good deal, thanks. They don't give them away, but it's cheap insurance.

Mcgard also makes nice aftermarket and oem lug nuts. Plus they have a lifetime warranty if the Chrome fails.

Plus they are forged in USA and support our economy.

Problem with the chrome is they can round off and be stuck on. Warranty is useless when you’re sitting there trying to get the tire off.

Had one round off on me; all just using hand tools. Luckily was able to finesse it off. Had it happen a few months ago on a different car - luckily was trading it in within a month so I just left it on.

The Chrome is a few thou thick over hardened steel on these. I guess they could round if the wrong size was used or there was little engagement from the socket.

Put a set of McGards on my 96 Ram. They were terrific, and looked great. Couldn't use the factory lug wrench on them so I also bought a nice big "X" iron with multiple heads. The reason they're warranted against rust (or at least the reason mine were in 1999 when I bough them) was because they weren't traditional chrome - they were polished nickel, which won't oxidize in normal conditions.

What is the McGard part number for their OEM lug nuts that will fit a 2018 F350? I already have their locking lug nuts using the flat seat (1 per wheel) and don't want 7 more of those on each wheel.

That Amazon link points to M14x2.0 lugs and searching on McGard you get pointed to M14x1.5.

I'll probably get a rotation or two out of these before I deem them junk.

It looks like the chrome version of the lug nut at amazon and at DP Accessories is no longer available. Anyone have any other info?
