i had McGard lug nuts on a truck long ago. They held up great.
i would like to get Mcgard nuts for this new truck. When I change them I will put anti-seize on the studs. The nuts stay tight but easier to get loose.
If I found a deal on either black or chrome, I would swap mine out too. On a past car, after we had new tires installed, every lug nut on the car was broken. Tire shop used the wrong sized socket when they put the new tires on.
Traded the car 10,000 miles later and never fixed the lug nuts. New owners must have been thrilled when they discovered.
2014 150 w/20's. At lease one lug is stuck on every wheel, yeah REALLY stuck. I'll go McGard, but suggestions on getting the stuck ones off? Thinking about warming them up w/ a buzz box & solid contact on 2 at a time.
Hello,
Does anybody have the McGard or Gorilla part# (or any other reputable aftermarket mfg) for the stock sized (14mm X 1.5) flat seating chrome lug nuts (and locking lug nut) that fit the stock 18" PVD wheels found on the 2018 F-250?
Thank you,
Ed
Ed,
I just bought these on amazon and then bought a set of 60 degree flat washers so the lugs would mount flat against the wheels. The washers came from VMS Racing.

So has anyone yet found a replacement for the lug nuts?
I would like to find stainless steel for use with OEM PVD wheels. So far nothing.
Please explain the washer and cone end nut trick. Have you found them in stainless?
Problem with the chrome is they can round off and be stuck on. Warranty is useless when you’re sitting there trying to get the tire off.
Had one round off on me; all just using hand tools. Luckily was able to finesse it off. Had it happen a few months ago on a different car - luckily was trading it in within a month so I just left it on.
I had a socket break (non impact...my fault) and chowder up the outside of one nut, now I won't leave the house without one of these: Astro Pneumatic Tool 7404 Flank Bite Damaged Lug Nut Socket Set w/Spinning Protective Sleeves

Most lugs have a beveled edge on the end and we need a flat bottom. The washer “fills the gap” and makes the contact flat....If that makes sense. Most folks take their truck to a tire place and they often use air tools that are not good for softer lug nuts.
