Plug your computer in, turn the key on and start Forscan. After it recognizes your truck's configuration and you click yes, move your cursor to the top left box where the yellow "I" (info) is and make sure it is selected. Then on your screen select the Configuration Tab. It should lay out all the current information for your truck.
Ya idk, it runs great and doesn’t leak oil lol
pulls my big *** boat just fine, I’m happy as can be.
I was asking about the late vs early because I’m gonna order a 6 pos tuner and needed to know for sure.
but it does have 5 bolts in the turbo housing so it is a late 99 and also it is a zf6 truck. We’re they really rated at 275hp?
Didnt know that
Maybe the L99-2000 ZF6 trucks were rated at 250 hp and only 235 with the 4R100. The red sticker also says 1999 on it so on second thought it probably is original to the engine, although I don't think mine has one of those. Maybe the motor was out of the truck at some point that caused that dent
Was this truck originally sold in Canada by chance? Whenever you see official looking stickers on a vehicle in English and French that is often a clue it is a Canadian vehicle.

I have no clue brother, I paid a kid 5k for it and have Been going through it replacing all the work out stuff
I did the foil delete and rebuilt the ipr while I was in there I hit it with purple power and cleaned it all up and saw those stickers. I’m sure there is no way to tell if the engine is original
but it doesn’t look like it’s been out
all the little plastic clips that hold hoses and lines, connectors etc are all still there...usually on transplants a lot of that doesn’t make it back in.
Also so I know I got to pull the pcm to get the info off it, I dot have that forscan so I’ll just remove it
