Sun Roof Initialization Procedure

Sun Roof Initialization Procedure
I thought I'd pass on this info in case anyone else is having an issue with their sunroof. I recently had the rails replaced under warranty, since the sunroof would make clunking / grinding noises, get stuff halfway, "pop" when opening, etc. When I got it back, the sunroof operation was as smooth as butter. Unfortunately, when I went to close it, it would move forward 2 inches, stop, then go back. It would keep doing this until I reached up and gave the sunroof a little "boost", and then it shut just fine. (Surprising they didn't notice this at the dealer)
I didn't feel like taking it back, so I did a little research and stumbled upon the initialization procedure. Apparently, this procedure should be done anytime sunroof work is being done that may change the amount of friction the the motor "feels", so you can recalibrate the allowable force that the system will use to close. (IE: It knows when it is closed, and not just hitting friction on the track)

- Continue to hold the close button for approximately 10-15 seconds and the shade and sunroof will open (Continue holding throughout)
- Once the shade and sunroof are completely open, release the button
