seatbelt ding fix
I have a 2002 psd and the seatbelt dinging was driving me crazy. I also have a Lightning and have done the same fix to it.
1. get in your truck and turn the key to the on or run position (the position just before you start the truck)
2. wait for the seatbelt indicator light to shut off
3. as soon as it shuts off, buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt 3 times, ( just pushing the button doesnt work, buckle and unbuckle it 3 times)
4.as soon as youve buckled and unbuckled 3 times turn your light switch all the way to the right then back to the off position.
5 right after this, buckle and unbuckle the seat belt 3 more times in a row and the seabelt indicator light should come back on for 4 seconds then turn off...
6 as soon as the indicator light turns back off buckle and unbuckle one more time.... the indicator light should flash rapidly and then turn off.
7. your done. This worked on mine but i had to do it about 3-4 times before i did it worked.

I suppose it doesn't work in the '96. I will have to do the cut the outside wire trick, as soon as I pluck up the courage..
Another thing I want, is to be able to disable the courtesy light so they do not come on when the door is opened. Taking the lamp out works, but then you got no lights when you want them.
