2015 F-350 Platinum. Looked in the manual and can't find anything to turn on the rear cargo light and leave the doors closed. What am I missing? Thanks in advance. Mike
Take a about a great upgrade, wire a switch on the panel just for the cargo light. Probably would take a bunch of new connections though as the current on/off operates both, you need to run almost a separate control from the cargo light to the panel.
Just a switch with both normally closed and normally open. NO tie to 12v switched or constant depending on your desire. The NC and common splice to the existing light. In off, all existing functions work, when on it will light up. Not sure if the canbus will yell saying light burned out or not though....
The high mount cargo usually blinds me, opted for led kit that mounts under bed rail, the circles in the bed post house circle switches perfect. Mine is on drivers side. See if I have a previous picture
