Hello Forum, I have a 2008 "Job1" F350XLT 4wd Superduty, Ext Cab w/8'bed 5.4L
I'm in need of direction and guidance on how to replace my External Transmission Filter FT176. This is the filter that sits under the truck in front of the transmission pan. I know these filters were only on a limited number of trucks and I've searched the interwebs and cannot find any thorough procedure.
Special Tools? How much fluid will I lose during the change? What kind of prep should be done before the removal/install? Also any experience with these?
I will video document my replacement ad free to contribute to the forum. Thank you FT176 External Transmission Fliter is in Black
