Differential fog

Hi,
I am trying to get to the last stuff I need for the drivetrain, ordered seals for the transfer case and all the u-joints and wanted to get a differential seal for the rear to try that jiffy replacement from another thread with a couple hundred pounds of torque instead of recrushing. I also need major attention to the front diff, like everything.
So I have the Ford shop manual which I find is just serviceable, my code is 25, all it tells me its a 4.56. Later in the 4WD front axle section it says 250s had spicer 60 in the rear and spicer 44, 2559 or 2558 in the front. So with a little research I found the 60 on the rear and the 44-6I? if that's what it says, take a look at the pic, but when I go to buy a seal there are difference parts for spicer 60 or spicer 60 with dana axle and many reference just a dana 44s. I saw on blue oval or somewhere that 25 was a 4.56 spicer/dana, not much more help. Apparently they have a different number of splines, what else? I saw something mentioned about info on the tube and will look again after I do some cleaning, I don't see any tags attached. The 60 is pretty tight and only needs a pinion and axle seal, but the front is way sloppy, the outer u-joints may be a big part of it but it probably needs a ring and pinion. Do I need to pull the axles and count the splines? I'm down to the frame so I will be posting chronological progress that will begin to look like something soon I hope.
thanks for any info,
Ed

25 = Spicer/Dana 60 Rear Axle / 4.56-1 / 5,200 lbs. Rear Axle Capacity.

1965 F250 4WD could have a Spicer/Dana 44-6F or 44-6CF 3,000 lbs. capacity front axle or Spicer/Dana 44-6CFHD or 44-6HDF 3,500 lbs. capacity front axle.

Front axle ID tag located under two of the bolts that retain the inspection cover to the housing.

If the tag is present, post what the code is.

Spicer was purchased by Dana, so is referred to as Spicer/Dana thru circa 1972, usually referred to Dana circa 1973.

Thanks Bill,
I see now that the casting number clearly says 44-6F I couldn't make out the F until you mentioned that as an option, I assume the HD ones are the 2558 mentioned in brief in the manual.
I'll be cleaning it all off later and will report back.
This is the kind of thing that was making me confused as to which to order as I hate sending things back.
This is from the manual, not a mention of Dana
