Axle info

Front axle plate
Front axle
Front axle side, is it a Dana 44 or 60?
Original owner claims to have put in a Dana 80, can't find a bom on rear, front only has the plate which I cant cross reference. Any help would be appreciated. I'm just trying to make sure I get the right parts ordered

Rear axle

Your front axle looks like a closed-knuckle Dana 44 with a date of July, 1963. The C4TA-A indicates 1964 era.

Rear axle looks like Dana 60. The Dana 80 has a larger pumpkin and a bit different shaped cover. Yours has the dent or low spot in the upper left area that indicates Dana 60 to me. The Dana 60 also has the raised area where the fill plug is located. Dana 80 doesn't have that.

Not without much fabrication, I don't. You have the extra challenge of the 4WD. Meaning you will need to keep your front and rear ratios fairly close together. Right now the front looks like 4.55 and the rear is likely 4.56. If you get those ratios too far apart you will either be pushing the front end or pulling the rear end around as you drive in 4WD.

C4TA-A = Dana 44-6F or Dana 44-6CF Front Driving Axle / 4.55-1.

Dana 60's use 8 lug wheels on a 6.50" bolt circle.

Is the truck an F100 or F250 4WD? If an F250 4WD, the Dana 60 would have been standard equipment.

It's a 64 f250 4x4, it's been frankenstiened, the engines out of a 73 uhaul truck... it's a 391 ft and the original owner put some other things on it. I'm just trying to narrow stuff down

Is it a 2V or 4V? Most U-Haul 500 and larger series trucks came w/a 361. 1973/78 F350's made exclusively for U-Haul have the 330 2V Medium Duty FT engine.

Well I made another post first day I drove it home, trying to figure out what engine is in it. 10 bolts on exhaust manifold made me think ft. Has after market carb so unsure. Had to do some research and make calls to get ahold of few owners back. So was told 391 ft with np435 and Dana 24 tcase which looks right and he did mention axle swap was done.
The 2 bolts in middle of manifold made me think ft owner confirmed
