It's really strange the way fender manufacturers define what wheels their fenders fit. Some don't even give the actual fender dimensions. Those poly fenders were designed for 19.5" and 22.5" dual wheels. These polished stainless fenders are for 16" or 17" dual wheels. I still have to bump them out a bit because federal law requires a minimum of 3" tire/fender clearance.
Bob,
To heck with the feds. What are the chances that they are gonna focus their attention on you? They have much bigger fish to fry. Of course, Murphy's Law states that if you ignore the law the feds will be waiting at the end of your driveway for you....LOL

Oh, I wholly agree Bobby. I love the snug-fit look and I would totally do it if I could axle mount the fenders, but they will be chassis mounted and I will need a couple of inches for spring bounce. I anticipate being pulled over within fifty feet upon entering a public road anyway. I'll have my GoPro ready.
^^Do you know how cool it'd be if he ran around town offering to do small concrete odd jobs? Man I'd be waiting with a bag of popcorn everywhere he went, that'd be badda$$.
(I seem to remember he's a young professional and probably has many many more important things to do every day. )
Dayng Bob, I had no clue you were "retired"! Well, either way I'd love to see that thing actually used for mixing, but that is a helluva lotta work just in prep.
