Inner Fender Mods with Mustang II

Inner Fender Mods with Mustang II
I have to modify the inner fenders because the OEM ones don't fit. So for one I already modified but wanted to make sure I didn't make any glaring mistakes I'm overlooking.
I'm thinking of ordering the flat aftermarket ones that mid-fifty sells.
Chuck: If you're reading this, I did reach out to Chris from PLOC and he had said that the one guy that originally made them for the members moved up North and he was hard to get a hold of.
So just a couple of quick questions:

- Do the modifications I already made look good/appropriate?
- What's the difference between the deep vs non-deep inner fenders

Jerry, Charlie bought a set of the PULOC inner fenders some time ago and then changed his mind after he got a set of aluminum inners from Direct Sheetmetal. I believe that he still has the PULOC inners and would be happy to sell them if you are interested. I'll text him and see where he stands. If you wanted a custom set then you could trailer your truck down here and Dave would make up a custom set to fit your truck perfectly...he could also attach the mounting flanges on the firewall/toeboard while he's at it.

Sorry! There's a guy in the San Diego area that has the smooth inner fenders that are already cut and he's selling them for $100, so I'm picking them up this weekend!
Now, if I didn't have this option, the plan was was to cut the other side and not be so over-zealous; I cut the hole a bit too wide and a bit too high. So I was gonna cut the other side a bit more conservatively based on measurements from my first attempt and then probably buy another fender for the other side and redo it. Then I was gonna use Bill's technique and use that edge liner strip!
I'll have to start a new thread with all of the progress and a start to finish. In about 2 months, I'm bringing it in to the shop to have it professionally finished. So by the time I get it in there, I will have the brakes and fuel lines done along with the full drivetrain. Within a couple of weeks I should have all of the parts painted and attached. I just got the belts on the engine - I know, sounds easy, but I used a March system on the front of my coyote engine for dressing and the belts they recommended were way too big...you'd think for a system as expensive as it was, they'd include the belts...
So the plan is to have as much of the stuff I can get done, done, leaving mostly the interior and wiring.
But these are already cut for a mustang II front suspension
So come Monday I'll get these in to get sand-blasted and with any luck I'll get them painted the following weekend.
