Spider Gears Kit
I need to replace my spider gears. I have a 1969 F100 with a Ford 9" rear end. It is 28 spline.
Can someone give me a link to Summit or Jegs, or somewhere else that has what I need?
I would also consider going limited slip, but I figure the spider gear kit would be quite a bit less money?

I found the same spider gear kit on Summit, but wanted someone to confirm I was looking at the right one.
I found this limited slip on Summit:

But a guy who rebuilds Ford rear ends often says he does not like this type.

Used to hear good/bad about Auburns back in the late 80's when the foxbody mustang got real popular. It was a common upgrade guys used. Can't say I have any real work experience with them myself.
I just bought a new Motorsport traction lok for my '95 F150(8.8). They aren't too bad, like $250? Can't recall exactly. I know it wasn't the $400 they are asking for the 9" version.

Looks like I'm going to be converting to a limited slip or Trac-Loc in my rear end. The spider gear kit will be around $200 for parts. I can put in the upgradeed rear end for a little over $500. I've put a 302 Blueprint engine in my truck which should run about 370-390hp. Also installed a TKO 500. So I figure I might as well be sure the rear end is build as well the rest.
