This is my 2015 bed on 2003 F250 Super Duty. I bought it as a new take off. Bed, tailgate and tail lights. Bought it in Duncansville PA. from a truck body company. They even undercoated the underside so it would not rust sitting in field.
Where did you pick that up. It looks awesome. cant believe the lines still match up like that.
Sully4755,
Thank you for posting the pic of the replaced bed on your truck. I have a 2000 F250 CCSB and the bed is shot. I've begun searching for a replacement and it's good to know all those years will match up. I'm looking at a 2010 SB take-off which looks to be in pretty good shape. Is it difficult to replace the entire bed in one piece? I've watched a couple youtube videos and it seems they appeared to be "too easy" which means I'll most likely run into some SNAFU moment.
Last bed I removed I learned you can hit the bolt exceptionally hard with a mallet and that can help free it. The mechanic said keep on hitting it every time I looked at him thinking this is pretty hard but Ok it helped with a few stuck ones. One bolt would come out so i had to use a grinder and grind it away.we used a bobcat to lift the bed I’d recommend at least 4 guys 6 would be even better. Also do not let the bed slam the cab it can happen pretty easily.
I'm overdue for bed, and read my 04' can take a number of year models up to 2014. Is that right? And Sully4755, thanks for posting that contact (I'm in NJ but have access to a trailer if needed. I'm just looking for white 8' SRW. I have tailgate. Just bed was abused by last owner and rust is at point of giving tetnus when climbing wheel well! I am finding that bed prices seem to be $2300-$3200. Any higher and I should just buy a new Reading Utility bed with lock boxes.
Superpicky I listed where I hot my bed from in Pa.They did have white beds but not sure if short bed. Call them Keiths Truck Service in Duncansville Pa.. The long bed with tailgate and lights was 3100.00.
Actually, that is not true. They do have a 6' bed. In fact there is a guy that lives near to me thas has a dually with a 6' bed and a standard cab. it is a VERY goofy looking truck. lol
I saw one this past summer in Avon CT and I had to do a double take...dually short bed regular cab...it looked goofy, but maybe since I never saw one before.
