Ok So my daughter was turning into my driveway when some chump apparently neglated to focus on the fact that there was a 2004 F350 DRW long bed Crew Cab turning left infront of them. Luckilly it was the truck and not one of the smaller cars She will be OK, just a little stiff. Picture 1
. But I am going to need to replace some schtuff in the back end.
Need:
A Bed
Bumper
Fenders
Tailgate
Thats only the minor stuff. Beyond that it will be new replacements.
My question is simple. What beds can fit on the 2004 Dually. They are not incredibly easy to locate in decent shape so I need to broaden my horizons.
any bed from 1999 to 2016 will work, the newer ones have a rectangular fuel door to allow room for the DEF fill. You may have to get a SRW bed and put the dually fenders on it, not a big job for a body shop. The newer dually's also had a different rear fender, I don't remember what year they changed, you may or may not like them.

Being completely honest I am not picky on which style flares are on it. I knew there was a change there. I would be more concerned with the fitment and line matching to the rest of the truck. More fitment of course.
I would look towards a service body but I use the truck to carry my slide in camper. As long as that fits in, I am good to go. Sorta effed up my summer on this one.
Any 1999 to 2017 bed will fit physically, but there will be styling differences 2011 and beyond but if that doesn't bother you, there will probably be plenty of those available.
I had good luck recently with car-part.com when I needed a replacement fuel tank. $1200 from Ford, $100 from a dismantler. No brainier.
99 to 16 will fit and body lines will match. 2017 is the aluminum bed, will not match. I just put a 2015 bed on my 2003 and everything lines up. Rear wheel arch is taller and fuel door is rectangular but all body lines match.
Actually, that is not true. They do have a 6' bed. In fact there is a guy that lives near to me thas has a dually with a 6' bed and a standard cab. it is a VERY goofy looking truck. lol

This is my 2015 bed on 2003 F250 Super Duty. I bought it as a new take off. Bed, tailgate and tail lights. Bought it in Duncansville PA. from a truck body company. They even undercoated the underside so it would not rust sitting in field.
Where I got my bed he had Red, Silver and White all new takeoffs. Mine was $3100.00 complete. They even had brand new rear chrome bumpers, I picked one up for $150.00.
