Be careful with Timken. My Timken hub came with the stud bolts but no nuts....I read to use old nuts and I don't have the M14x1.5 threads I have course threads. Now my truck is on stands and I cannot find anyone who has the M14x1.5 Grade 8 Nuts. Also no instructions at all. As far as thread locker or torque of studs into hub bearing assembely its all up to you. I snugged mine into the assembely with a small pipe wrench n used red loctite.

Heads up M14x1.5 doesn't exist in Grade 8 that may be why you can't find them. The M14x1.5 in a 10.9 is very common.

ford390gashog Thanks. I would take them if I could find them. I just thought 8 was the least I would use. Just can't find M14x1.5 anywhere and FOMOCO wants almost $8 a piece....I see Lug Nuts that would fit but they have the loose flange. Timken was lame to send the studs and not the nuts..lame

Fastenal has them in stock, so does every truck supply shop and CAT. Hopefully you are local to one of those, if not order them from mc master.

ford390gashog..thanks but its a wild goose chase.
Here is what I ordered:
https://www.belmetric.com/fine-threa...nc-p-9732.html
$1.48 Each....
I was told that Class 10 is same as Grade 8 in Metric Nuts and Class 10.9 is same as Grade 8 in Metric Bolts. For some reason they only add the (.9) to the bolt Class description.... Add more confusion..lol
