lower radiator hose issue

Like the title says.......a coworker of mine has a '17 F-250 6.7L, approx. 30k miles on it. One morning he went out to his truck and noticed a large puddle of coolant on the ground. Long story short, dealer replaced water pump and lower hose with new, also said they have repaired three of these same issues on different trucks already. Anyone else have this?

My '16 did the same thing at 27k. The truck gave me a warning a year earlier @ 14k with a squealing bearing.

I forgot to mention, it wasn't the water pump that failed, the lower radiator hose literally came off the water pump end,....all on its own parked on the driveway.
