So you get a pic of license while they are blowing smoke?

Wrong forum. You need the older Super Duty forum. 99-16
Can't imagine it being a huge problem. Boys will be boys.

How many of those coal rolling trucks were smoking a Japanese car with a fart can muffler and a 900 watt stereo powering 3 subwoofers and rattling everything in sight? Did you complain about their noise pollution? For all you picture taking, police reporting snitches out there, try to remember what life was like before most men became effeminate wusses reliant upon the government or the dominant matriarch in their life to tell them what to do. Chill out and smile at someone who once in a while is obviously having more fun than you are.

i havent noticed this much in my area at all. There are tons of modified diesels since they are emissions exempt, technically so is my 6.2 due to weight. Usually i only see black smoke from the diesels are sled pulls and the drag strip thats near by.

I think this is a problem on all years. Some people can't live with the emissions system and delete it. My emissions is working great. I can't smell burnt or unburnt diesel, even standing beside the tailpipe.

In 2017 Colorado passed a "Rolling Coal" law. I was talking with my State representative about that law last week. The interesting consequence of that law is that it can spur the investigation of someone eliminating emissions.

I agree that people deleting their diesel emissions systems are making it very difficult for the rest of us. When the general population has a perception that diesel trucks are dirty they're more receptive to higher regulations of diesel engines.

Not all deleted trucks roll coal. You have to have your tuner turned up pretty high or have a smoke switch to get that big cloud of smoke going. I see this a few times a year and mostly because I pulled up to a stop light beside a deleted 17+ Superduty and that driver wants to show me that he is deleted. It’s the same as being that guy that has to ride his seadoo right at the boundary of the swimming area at my lake to show off to all people on the beach. He thinks he’s cool but he is just pissing everyone off. I’ve had deleted trucks and ran a mild 40hp tune and never felt the need to roll coal on anyone. If I turned it up to the 250hp setting, it rolled a lot. Have to admit, I did it once to **** off an environmentalist I was working with on a pipeline project. A lot of people are ignorant when it comes to diesel trucks and think that just because they saw a guy blowing huge clouds of black smoke one day, all diesels do it. It does give all of us a bad reputation in the ignorant minds. If you want a thread on what kind of person would think this, go to the troll at Lowe’s thread. Lol

Smoke is very common here. I even know of a state dot with a deleted dodge.

Why do people even spend the effort to create a thread like this? Almost as bad as me spending time writing a response to said thread. lol

Because half of the population hates the liberal bad half that like to comment on what they hate instead of minding their own.

I suspect far more than half the population frowns on the stupidity of rolling coal. Since I can't shoot someone for it, I would absolutely drop a dime on some dip**** for doing what the op describes. Don't tread on me!

Around here, if the kids don't have one of those ridiculous looking 5 gallon bucket style exhaust tips that hang about a foot off the ground (effectively negating their brodozer lift), then they have stacks in the bed and a soot covered roof. Cracks me up!

And the town popo are known to ticket the coal rollers if they catch them in the act.

Lol. I’ve never heard the Gadsden motto used in a liberal way. And what kind of mass shooter mindset is it to want to shoot someone for doing something you don’t like? What a mental mess that is. Easiest thing...mind your own business.
you call them cops ma’am!

I did it once to a hippie in a Prius in my old 2007 pre emissions truck. I was clearly going straight from a stop sign across 5 lanes of traffic into a parking lot across. No blinker on clearly. Takes a second for traffic to clear. Prius starts honking and self important hippie hand waving because they want to go right and cant wait.

Anyway they got the smoke and as much asphalt I could spin on them. It wasn't a smoky tune, you would have to provoke it by braking tipping in the throttle backing out then rolling into it.

I personally though want zero smoke and the idiots that do that on the road to random people should get a ticket. But that hippie deserved that.
