Right before you apply any type of product to the crack, drill a very small hole at the very ends. That will keep the crack from spreading further.
Do you think that the crack will spread? I forgot to mention that the lens is made of very soft plastic. This is not made of glass or anything like the OEM

I think the OEM version is polycarbonate, which is fairly stiff stuff. I would think that aftermarket versions would be the same, as polycarbonate is not particularly expensive.

yes they are made of polycarbonate but it is a lot thinner lens.
On second (or third or fourth) thought... Maybe take it down to someplace like Safelite and see if they can fill the crack with some of their magic clear epoxy that they use on windshields? They may not warranty it (or maybe they will), but if it can stop cracks in windshields, maybe it would do a great job on a headlight lense.

So Morimoto wasnt able to do anything for me except for offering me a 20% discount on a new headlight, but they are on national backorder, and I would end up on a wait list for up to 6 months. I used some of the windshield repair kits from autozone and then wrapped it in Air-Tint Smoke Black Gloss Vinyl Headlight Foglight Transparent Tint Wrap Self-Adhesive to prevent any moisture from coming inside the headlight.
it looks ok and the light output is affected only by 10%.
I prefer the original look but I may have to wait until they get the headlights in stock, which could be 1 year from now. I also did the fog lights... I was bored LOL
