XL headlight upgrade
I have a '99 F-350 which is an XL, I would like to upgrade the headlights to those that are found on the other superdutys. I am under the impression that i could just go to the junk yard and buy some and put the on? true or false?

XL headlight upgrade
I asked this question a couple months ago as I have a XL also and the answer is yes. The headlight housing off of other superdutys will bolt right into the XL headlight area.

XL headlight upgrade
I did the XL to XLT headlight upgrade and it was pretty simple. Just make sure you get the little metal clips that hold the areo style light in. Also ford put an adaptor on the wiring to plug in the XL lights...just remove that and the remaining plug will plug right into the XLT style.
