Purchased a new 2019 F150 XLT FX4 a week ago and the rake is driving me crazy. I understand the design of the rake in placing the rear higher than the front, but under most circumstances I won't ever have that kind of weight in the bed of the truck.
I also do not seeing larger tires and wheels in my future, those days are over for me. The truck will be an every day driver and serve as a Toad behind our motorhome.
So I am looking at 3 different ways to help level out the rake/stance of the truck.
1. 2" leveling puck/spacers at the front strut tower. Roughly $100 plus installation and alignment comes to $400
2. Rancho Quick Lift strut/spring complete assembly which includes the adjustable front struts. $345 for the kit alone. This give a 2.75" lift which may slightly reverse the rake from F2R.
3. Rear 1.5" lowering shackle kit from Ford Performance Parts. $104 plus installation, unless I tackle this one myself.
There's a 4th way as well, and easiest and free. You can remove the block between the springs and axle. Very easy to do. Will drop the rear 1 1/4".
I just removed my rear drop shackles, it's a PITA without a lift. I installed them on a lift. Just mentioned that in case you go that way, and change your mind later.
Also, as on most 1/2 tons I'm aware of, it doesn't take a lot of weight to make them sag, regardless of your payload rating.

Interesting Option. So, did I read your post correctly, you put on lowering shackles and then removed them? Did you then, remove the axle spring block?

Thank you,
Yes, originally I had lowered the truck 1 1/2" with shackles, but left the block in place. I've now gone back to my OEM shackles, and left the block there. I was setting my truck up for street, but got a good deal on wheels and tires, and now am back to stock on the rear, and am leveling the front going up 2 1/4".

Would love to hear some impute.
I’d say go with the Bilstein or Einach replacement adjustable struts and shocks.
Actually, everyone should do it leveled or not. The headlights aren't exactly aimed from the factory. I found that my standard halogen headlights were much better once I took the time to aim them properly. Now, even though my truck is leveled, I rarely get flashed. Actually it happens less than when the truck was new. When I first got it the lights were aimed too high. The low beams seemed alright, but the high beams lit up the trees.
If you're not planning on getting larger tires go with the free mod and remove the rear blocks.
If you go with spacers or leveling struts the stock tires will look too small.
