We do have a tradition of using the search function first, before asking others to do the work for you. It’s good practice, but, since you were unable to,
I found this in under two minutes:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...acement-2.html

Check out post # 24. Now, is there anything else we can do for you?

Well now that’s what i. Call a useful hint and a good response.

just because i am new to this forum does not mean that because you have been here for over 15 years you should try to disrespect or embarrass new people to the forum.

i appreciate and thank you for your response with the answer i was looking for. Have you considered the possibility i did use the search function and not find the results i was looking for so then decided to ask the forum for some help. After all is this forum not intended to make our hobbies on f100’s easier to fix problems ask questions and such things as resources. I think if you knew what i was asking for and was able to find it in under 2 minutes why wouldn’t you have just provided it in the first post to my question along with your smart *** comment.

as i said thank you very much for the assistance and if i need further assistants i will search or ask which ever i feel is more appropriate at the time and circumstances i have at the the t
ime.

It seems to me that you appear to monitor the forum pretty closely so you appear to have some spare time to help and answer various posts for information that can either help you or so you can help others, thanks we new to the forum appreciate people like you when we can get answers or thoughts or comments to various posts. What we really appreciate is when we get quick and effective responses.

No one is embarrassing or disrespecting you by letting you know that you ought to do for yourself what you can. And you can use the search feature as well as I or anyone can. You’ve ben around here long enough to know that. Should I come over and wipe your bottom, too?

Most of us have a great appreciation for things like capitalization, punctuation, etc., since a few are old and decrepit like me. Is that too much to ask, also?

Thank you for the feedback.

you assume everyone has the same luck with searches, everyone uses different search criteria.

i did and will continue to utilize the search function as well as the post a new thread when necessary.

you can always feel free to not respond to any post if you fell it is not worth your time, but as i mentioned you appear to enjoy replying to posts that you have knowledge of that could answer the post.

thank for spoon feeding me if that’s what you think you did.

I just consider the forum as a voluntary source and if you should choose to answer a post a direct answer is far more appreciated than smart *** comments and assumptions that imply you are able to find something you may have read responses to over the last several years. And the new users may not have every post in the last 15 years. Again we appreciate you answers, response and other posts especially when they are constructive.
