Hello all,
Welcome to the 6th month of the year. June fools day today. Why not April has it's own fools day, so I figure it is about time June got one too.

, Thanks Stewart , maybe it’s just slow internet , I cleaned it up but taking awhile , it’s a little warm today , I’m not complaining yet because I have Pool side Swim Event Sunday , so I’ll wait and Complain tomorrow , when I have enough to complain about

We topped out at not quite 70 today, so I am not complaining. It was nice and sunny with a very gentle ocean breeze. Almost perfect for me, as I start whimpering at around 85, and implode when it hits triple digits.

Well, my trip up into the mountains wasn't that good. My sleeping gear got soaked and I didn't sleep well.
Attendance was off, so I only cooked 40 of the 60 lbs. of ribs. Cooked up the other 20 lbs. after I got the truck unloaded back home.
I still have other things to clean up.
Still planning on competing again in the Back 40 Ribs Cook-Off, July 27th, 100 Coggins Dr., Pleasant Hill.
If you want to taste-test some ribs, show up around 3:30-4:00. Ribs are supposed to be submitted to the Judges at 4:00, after that, we'll be passing out samples until the winners are announced.
