Are you kidding me with this heat? 97 in San Francisco? My pickup truck does not have air conditioning. I never thought that I would need it in San Francisco.

104 here but then we live in the armpit of Kalifornia. Literally the other side of the mountain from Death Valley. Ironic.

Two weeks ago Winter flexed its muscles and forced the season deep into May, until Summer said "enough" and came flying off of the turnbuckle and with a diving stomp, pile drived Winter into triple digit heat.

I know what y'all mean. We had to return 12 tables and 60 or so chairs from a (Saturday) wedding. We had a lot of help, so it wasn't too bad. Ninety degree heat was not kind though. I was a wet noodle when we got home.

Have to revert to my summer schedule for doing errands. If I am not done with them by 10am they don't get done until the next day.

If I don't have a drink but 10 AM, I spend the rest of the day trying to catch up.

If it takes 12 hours to pass out, I'd say maybe you're not drinking fast enough.

Some horses have horse sense, and some don't. My SO's horse loved to go out and roll around in the pond on a hot day. That seemed like the good kind of horse sense. Although, one time she did it with the saddle on.

They say that we live in politically volatile times. BS. Every decade, every presidential administration, and in every part of history.....life has always been politically volatile. Did you think that The Pharaohs had it any easier?

The world political theater is wildly entertaining. Riveting drama. Sabotage. Treachery. Titillating.

Just like a baseball game, I enjoy it with a cold drink. Nothing like CNN, Fox News, NPR, NHK, Al Jazeera......a Coke & a smile.

When did Jon Stewart go from Wise-Cracker to newsmaker? He's now giving testimony to Congress!

Good evening guys, Happy fathers day to you dad's!

Gong to be a busy weekend, like they all are I guess! Going to change the oil, and fuel filter on my truck and do a couple camper mods. Other then that I'm sure there will be other things that pop up needing attention!

Oil change & fuel filter. Big fun. At least with a truck, you can crawl under it without lifting. With the pickup, I can slide right under, and do oil, transmission, fuel filter, spark plugs....all the service work I want. The little minivan is another story. First time in many years, after driving Jeeps & trucks, that I have to hassle with jacks. I am using UniJacks, which are significantly safer than the little scissor jack that the factory provides. After the last oil change, I ordered a set of ramps. Hoping to save myself a little work by just driving up on the ramps.
