it is recommended if you use B20 than you need to use synthetic oil. Personally I don't like B20 because I dont get the millage towing my 5th wheel. Unloaded may be different havent tried that. Here in Ca. I don't have that where I fill up.
That's the fuel I use! I try to find the stores with the truck islands when traveling as well.
I’ve done some research on the Diesel Xtreme with the Power Service already mixed in, and it is a pretty intense and comprehensive list of things a store must do in order to obtain and keep the Diesel Xtreme/Power Service emblem on their pumps. Such things as regular fuel sampling, tank cleanliness measurements, etc. I run it when I can find it.
PM-22a in every tank. I keep 5 4oz bottles prefilled in the back door pocket and dump one in before each fill up.
Ditto, but I keep mine in my tool box in the box that the bottles came in. I use PM-23 in cold weather.
I used the PM-22a bottles originally, until I noticed 1 of the cap seals in the filler tube 1 fill-up. That could have sucked up against the pickup tube.
If using the PM22a bottles, be careful with the cap seal.
I pour mine into a empty Sta-bul bottle. it has a measuring spot on the bottle so I dont waste it. I have not found a place in the truck for it yet but havn't tried. I will make something.
All I know is don’t put it in the back door. Seems like the darn fuel additive companies need to get with soda or beverage companies on how to make bottles seal. They’re not all bad don’t always leak, but when they do, it’s a pain in the butt to clean it up.
I keep mine in an old Stabil bottle also. When I buy a new bottle, the cap on the bottle fits on main opening on the Stabil bottle, so I replace it every time I buy a bottle of new additive. I keep it in the driver's seat cover rear pocket and keep it in a zip lock bag for insurance. I've had no issues up to this date. It seals well and no leaks.

There is a really nice spot in the left rear corner of the cab behind the back seat on the driver side. Perfect for a quart of oil or an additive bottle that's where I keep mine. It stays upright in this location.
When the manufacturer of the engine comes out with a fuel additive I'm thinking it probably makes sense to use it, PM22-A with every fill up. I ordered a few 8oz glass medical bottles to keep in the passengers door. Need to add a bit more when you fill a 50 gallon tank up.
Mr. B you need 8 ounces if you start empty. If I only add 10 gallons I try to only add 2 ounces of stuff. No reason to over do it. Cetane is kind of expensive when you think about how much comes in a bottle LOL
IMO, PM22a is too hazardous to keep in the cab. I recommend reading the MSDS for it if you think it's OK to have it in an enclosed space with you. I know it may not leak and you somehow might get none on the outside of the bottle when using it, but it is a risk I stopped taking after doing some research.
