I need to replace my front drums. Some places only list one option while some others list different ones. Up to or after serial number 872000.
Is there still a difference? My trucks serial # is in the earlier set.
Thanks.

Just went through this on my 66 (same s/n series as yours). You must reuse your old hub; but, you need to press the old studs out to separate the drum/hub. DO NOT HAMMER THEM OUT.
Then you’ll need the following:
- Dorman 610109 wheel studs
- Bendix BEN-PDR0115 drums
if you’re also replacing your bearings and races in the hub, I used:
- Centric 41091005 Front Inner
- Centric 41091002 Front Outer
Speakin' of front drums I bought to new composite drums from NAPA. I took the old assemblies to a shop and had 'em pressed off. I had to have .015 milled off both new drums though despite my spending over an hour beveling the new linings. Also it's tough to find affordable brake parts that aren't made in China these days.
