I am building a 72 f-100 and have swaped to a AOD, So I went and got a colum from a 73+ truck. I am in need of the indicator the thing with the " P R N D 2 1" on it, can any one help?

Having the proper shifter for the aod is crucial to the tranny's survival. Just having the detents a little off can destroy one of these trannys I am told. With this in mind you may want to install a newer column from an overdrive pickup or do the unthinkable and install an aftermarket floor shifter designed for the tranny you will be using.
