8.8 Gear Pattern Check

I'm in the process of regearing the 8.8 in my 96 F150, and am wondering if someone with more experience than myself could lend their opinion on this pattern.

I don't have my notes in front of my at the moment, but believe I ended up around .035 for pinion depth, backlash is set to .013 (spec is 11-16). Gears are 4.88s.

Thanks in advance!

From what little I know that wear pattern is spot on---in the center of the tooth and not too high. Don't pay me too much attention to me as I've never done this myself.

Looks good to me too. You can tighten up the backlash a bit to get the pattern down on the tooth but it should be good like it is.

Thanks guys! Ended up getting it put back together earlier today, added a couple extra thou to the left side when I was adding shims back for carrier preload. Backlash ended up between 11-13 when I took it in a few places and pattern checked out, so should be good to go. Now on to the front end which seems like it will be much less fun than the rear.
