Normally it's pretty slow, but last year it rose close to 1ft. a day up until it crested. It would be nice if the fish were biting, that won't happen much until the water gets back in it's banks.
Sorry to hijack your thread John, now back to regular programming. 😂

Yes Weather is weird right now everywhere.....I know I cant and am not complaining...actually I never complain...I explain...anyway...We no longer have a drought here in Southern California...It has rained enough mostly at night and some during the day when it doesnt impact the day too much its been fine...and its rained enough to put away that drought mess....The Commi State of CA government has raised our water fees to compensate for the drought...do you think my comrade brothers, you know the leadership for the state will reduce the fees now that the drought is over??? NO....of course NOT....Our temperatures are averaging in the mid 60's throughout the day and into the 50]s at night...this is a little cooler than San Diego's usual ---by now we should be in the low 70's.... Our trade off for great weather is VERY HIGH living expenses, like gas prices...we pay probably more than a dollar a gallon more than any of you all pay. We also pay the sunshine tax...aka, very high housing costs, we are taxed for EVERYTHING....I mean everything....even the air we breath....if my very large family wasnt rooted here (10 grand kids)._...Id move to Arizona or Nevada or Washington State.....Maybe Oregon....I dont do humidity or super cold so some parts of the country wouldn't work..

. The immigration onslaught we are experiencing here in California is SO EXPENSIVE TO deal with...We need to get those who are coming to stay home....help them deal with the farming(Weather issues for them also are reducing crop productivity) and other issues they are facing in their home countries this would be better...Personally if its going to cost me, Id rather spend my tax money propping them up in the countries they are coming from then spend the money on the social services we provide once they are here. Keep them home so they dont crowd us and further drain our resources... I am not being political here...once again just explaining. None of the choices are great but we could make better ones than we are currently making I think. A definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over and expect different results....we need to try something else.

Not much cooler or less humidity here near Raleigh, NC. Got up to 94* yesterday @ 2pm

Last weekend and Saturday when it got to 96* and 94* in my garage I called it a day.
Because of the heat & humid I been getting out to the garage before 5am and work till I cant take it most of the time around 1pm or 2pm.

They say it will be close to 100* here tomorrow and I have to work out side
Yep grass crunchy here also and we are on a water watch, can only water on certain days if you water anything.
Even the cats & dogs don't want to go out!

Everyone be safe in this heat.

No unusually warm conditions here in Wisconsin. We are expecting that some of the snow on Rib Mountain, a local ski area, will. last through the 4th of July. It did last year, and this winter we had more snow. I cut my grass for the first time Saturday. I can't imagine wanting to live in areas where temps regularly get into the 90's and higher. Here, in the winter, when it gets cold, you put on more clothes. When it gets hot, there's only so much you can legally can take off. Take good care everyone.

Lol. It's absolutely true - That's when you know it's real bad - dogs that normally go completely ballistic with intruders or strangers, just stay under the porch or shade or whatever, don't move an inch, and throw out (maybe) an unmotivated muffled woof or two.

I &@!?ing hate humidity with every fiber of my being, sweat very very heavily and it makes for misery working outside. As far as I'm concerned if it didn't get any hotter than about 60° that would be fine with me, or at least humidity between 30 and 40% No colder than about 32° will work as well, as long as I'm dreaming..

Sitting in my backyard now at 9:40 pm. It is 64° with a low for us, 53% humidity. Today was beautiful. Thunderstorm and higher humidity in the forecast for tomorrow.

Thunderstorms yesterday and today with increased humidity. Mowing soccer fields and clients lawns in between downbursts.

But thank God no severe BV weather or flooding that some of you may be experiencing.
