Comparison

I do understand that the vehicles are on different levels, however, if one were to choose between a 2011 F150 w/ the 5.0L Coyote running at 147,000+ miles or a 2002 F250 w/ the 7.3L Powerstroke running at 202,000+ miles, which would be the preferred option?

When buying a used vehicle, I've always gone with buy the newest lowest mile vehicle you can afford that meets your needs.

Buuuuut in the very different case, I can't help but think that the 7.3L smoker will around a lot longer than the coyote.

motor might last a little longer.......... but eh 250 has a 17 year old BODY / frame / brake lines on it.......... expect a lot of maintenance.

Assuming the vehicle model doesn't have trash reviews, right?

All depends what I want and what the reviews are saying, age of said vehicle, condition and previous work.

Depends on location. Those old Superdutys are a very reliable platform with excellent parts availability. In my area it would be next to impossible to find an 02 thats not got a ton of rust.
