First off, your PowerStroke engine has a 5 year/100,000 warranty. I know my truck just reaches the 5 year mark this month. Contact the dealer with your VIN and see if the engine is still covered under warranty in your truck.

P0272 – Cylinder #4 Contribution/Balance

P0300 – Random Misfire Detected

From the 2015 Warranty Guide

Your vehicle’s direct injection diesel engine and certain engine
components are covered during the PowerStroke Diesel Engine Coverage
Period, which lasts for five years or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs
first. The following parts are covered during this extended coverage
period: the engine, cylinder block, heads and all internal parts, intake
and exhaust manifolds, timing gear, harmonic balancer, valve covers, oil
pan and pump, water pump, fuel system (excluding fuel lines, fuel tank
and frame mounted fuel conditioning module sometimes referred to as
the frame mounted pump/filter/water separator or frame mounted fuel
filter/water separator), high pressure lines, gaskets and seals, glow plugs,
turbocharger, two-stage turbocharger assembly, turbocharger actuator,
powertrain control module, high pressure fuel injection pump assembly,
injectors, injection pressure sensor, fuel rail pressure sensor, exhaust
back pressure regulator and sensor, exhaust pressure sensor, manifold
pressure sensor, intake air temperature sensor, crankshaft position
sensor, camshaft position sensor, accelerator switch.

It was a rebuildable salvage so it has a branded title. I asked last year about getting a battery replaced and they refused under warranty. No part of the engine or radiators was damaged. thanks

change the fuel filters, How much fuel is In the truck? Id add some fuel injection cleaner if not too much fuel and see if that will help it.

To me it sounds like a bad fuel injector (s).

There is 3/4 tank of fuel in truck, I had put 10 gal in it about 12 miles before it shut down. We drained some fuel out of water separator, no water, fuel looked and smelled ok. Truck ran fine until it shut down. Thanks

Check fuel pressure, my guess with those codes is #4 injector is dumping fuel and that is causing fuel pressure to drop below what it needs to run.

I think I got a mixture of diesel & gas when I got fuel, I just have to find someplace to test a sample from my tank.

An easy way to test for gasoline, is to drain a sample. Bring the same to a safe and controlled area where you can pour it and attempt to ignite it with a lighter or match. Obviously, if it ignites there is definitely gasoline present. Diesel will not ignite.

Yes it happened after getting fuel, I went to station with a sample and she tested it with the paste they use to check the tanks for contamination, it tested ok, I also did the burn test like on utube, it didn't light. Probably something simple wrong with truck, problem is finding it. thanks..
