I’ve found the turn signal and hazard wire at the driver taillight, it’s flashing voltage, but with brake pedal depressed, I’ve got no voltage at either the green wire, which I’m assuming is ground, and the other black wire. So I’m stuck somewhere between the wiring at the other side of the brake switch (it’s passing voltage) and the taillight pigtail, I’ll go up by the transmission and probe the same harness.
Interesting thing with the turn signal switch though, I replaced it several months ago due to a bad one. Not sure when this problem happened though, I got pulled over today for it, but I don’t normally drive at night so not sure when they went out, can I isolate the turn signal switch and test? I’ll check out the wiring on the garagemahal.

Using a test light you can check at the plug to the switch.
You can see what wire is the brake light switch in to the switch.
Then with the wheel off see if you have power at the other end of that wire and go from there.

Wow, there’s a mess of wires under here! So, note the color wire coming out of the brake switch and trace it up to the turn signal switch, test the voltage there?
Holy cow, not sure of which pigtail I connected or disconnected or wiggled but once I got the dash pulled apart and turn signal switch pulled, it now works! I’ll try to put it all back together and replicate it.

Or it stays working!
I cant really think what you would have done that would do that, had to be something with the turn switch.

Make sure there is a little slack at the wiring plugs and at the switch. Steering columns are a pain.
