I've had my 2019 for about two weeks now. We just had a couple days of late season rain, and came out this morning to find a puddle of water on the floor mat. I lifted the floor mat and sure enough the carpet is wet also. Can't really say how disappointing this is. I know how difficult it can be to find water leaks. Truck doesn't have cab lights or moon roof. Drivers side was uphill a bit from passenger side. I made an appointment with the dealer scheduled for Monday.
I feel your pain. My 17, when new, was missing about 4” of the seal around the back window, top corner, pass. side. I don’t think that area would apply to your situation here but my pass. side carpet was soaked. I was so disappointed. The dealer had a rain-maker set up just to find leaks and they found it very easily, pulled the seats and the carpet/padding, dried it all out and I haven’t had an issue since. They check electrical connections too, no issues.
I had this EXACT issue. The cause: the drainage tubing for the driver’s side moonroof were not connected properly. Feel carefully along the inside of the door sill plate on the driver’s side. If that’s the point of maximum wetness (feel along it on the edge of the plastic all the way towards the back) then this is likely the same issue. Make sure to get it fixed ASAP or more rain will leak into the headliner and potentially short the vanity light on that side .. look at your rear driver’s side headliner and pillar and see if that’s already happened.
Blot everything you have as dry as you can get it immediately. Dealer should remove the sill and remove any water there ASAP. Also not a bad idea to get some jumbo desiccant packs to keep on the carpet when not in use to dry things.
That’s what I would think too since it’s at the accelerator.
OP - if you can’t seen any loose or cracked molding in the windshield area above the leak, maybe have someone spray a hose on that area while you’re inside the drivers footwell looking for dripping.

I don't know where it is leaking. The truck sits on an incline with the front end down (backed in) with the drivers side higher than the passenger side. I'm suspecting the door or A pillar area, but not sure. Taking it to the dealer Monday as that was the soonest they could get me in. I am going to vacuum as much as I can and get a fan blowing on the carpet to dry it out as much as possible. It's not soaked, but more than damp.
