2016 long start

2016 f250
6.7 diesel

Started long starts periodically during day
Mostly when engine still warm------like starving for fuel on start up?
But if tap fuel pedal it is fine
Any ideas?

are you sure you tightened the filter cup until the stops met? You might have a slight air leak to cause the long start. try turning the key on but not to start.....wait 10 second or so...then start....if it starts immediately, i would look for air leak...if still long start, you might need to have the dealer check it.
