Someday I gotta pul the trigger on a new set of rubber once my Michelins wear out. Unfortunately for me (my pocketbook), I'm already having issues with spinning the rear when I hit 5th gear getting on the highway when the roads are wet. I'm not interested in spinning out this winter (which is unlikely given my driving style). But, suffice it to say that with at least 2/3 tread on them, they spin too easily for my taste. I'll run some air out of them and see if I can correct that a bit, but it's troublesome....

Anyway, your rig is turning out real nice!
The tires are a jeep lover's wet dream; Goodyear Wranglers.
They have worked out quite well for the past 2 years on War Dog. Examples:
1. Towed me boat all da way to LOTO. Their water gets super mossy fast, especially at the old launch in our neighborhood. No slip for me, just dipped the trailer, released the boat, and pulled. Reversed order when time to go home. No slip. Just load and go.
2. Michigan winters. All over this great state. I am responsible for several facilities in a tri state area, so weather be damned, this dog will hunt wherever I point.
3. Property up north is off a two lane dirt road, to gravel, to a washed out forestry road. No address, just GPS coordinates to get you to my little slice of heaven. Every season that this state offers, no issues. No stucky stuck.
Having said that, I still love my BFG's. That was the plan with Captain Tripp's. But these past few years with these Wranglers that do all, and do all well tires, has me second guessing.
Thought i was the only one who watched Dante's Peak, noone ever gets the reference when i have mentioned it around, they know who Pierce Brosnan is, but cannot fathom him being in a Volcano movie.

I watch all the movies. I literally love watching all good and bad movies.
I have watched such turds such as "Stripper Zombies" and "Birds of Prey"
all the way to good ones (IMO) such as Unforgiven and World War Z.
I've only turned off two movies in my life: 1. Brass and 2. Punisher (the one with Dolph in it).
For those that don't know Dante's Peak, here's you trailer for it.
This winch has been used more times on various vehicles, and has never failed me.
Actually, I have never had to use it on un stucking War Dog, only to move felled timber on the property up north (no pictures, was too busy working then).
I initially bought this for my 1996 crew cab f350 with a 18 foot hodges trailer, cause the winch I got with that tow rig was garbage.
But not long after this picture, I got the Bronco pretty buried, so we rebuilt the crappy winch for the tow rig and switched it back in and pulled my current winch out to put on a Reese receiver style hitch carrier to use on the Bronco.
Sold the Broncos, and bought another truck, Lucipher's Haywagon. We used that winch on this truck as well.
Managed to never get the haywagon stuck, but I pulled many a tree, and jeep, with this brute.
And now it's found a home on War Dog (for now, cause Captain Tripps will inherit it soon.
It's a Mile Marker 12,000 pound capacity.
No synthetic's here. Just pure steel to rip open your hand on a cold, -5 degree day.
Still gotta wire the quick connects for Captain Tripps before I make the switch.
Sorry, no help with the paint but it's the F-650 lower dash I think is what you are looking for, it's available in both an automatic trans and manual versions. The auto has room for 9 rocker switches where the factory 650 shifter would go, the manual one has less room for switches but lots of guys have some gauges mounted along with a few switches. I have the auto waiting it's turn in the garage.
I also have the f-650 auto lower dash waiting it’s turn.
I’m also no help on the color.
but here is the part number for the dash I got.
paid about $35 for it new off eBay.

I think you are right as well.
I bought mine here off of a fellow enthusiast.
Want to get mine painted before I install on Captain Tripps.

Nice score on that price. I bought mine off a fellow enthusiast here on the sight. Can't wait to install, but first I must match the dash color.
If you have an auto body supply shop near you they should be able to use a hand held color scanner on the existing piece or the dash and custom mix a color for you. Some can even put it in an Aerosol spray paint can for you.

Very much appreciated sir. That is a huge help.
And I so happen to have one pretty close to my house.
So while I am SLOWLY preparing to sell War Dog, and transfer the goodies over to Captain Tripps, I am also buying some cool s^!* and normal upgrades for the Captain.
1. bought a rear wing dillio that apparently was a dealer option piece, still in the Ford box (pics to come, just giving updates ATM)
2. bought some used AMP research powersteps (pics to come)
3. bought some mildly aggressive lugs
4. bought some upgraded headlights from Spyder
5. bought some upgraded(?) fog lights from Spyder
6. finally found some 2nd row buckets to put in
7. and lastly, switched over the "safari" rack from War Dog to Captain Trips.
