Hub cap paint codes

What are the proper paint codes for '64 hub caps? Having trouble finding this.

I would guess the white is a Wimbledon White, but not completely sure. No idea what color grey it is though. Thanks.

The silver is just called “Argent”, I think. Not sure of the red used for the lettering, but someone’s gonna be by to let you know . . .

Thanks ibuzzard. Mines a 64, I believe the white lettering was factory paint for that year. Hopefully someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

This is what's on the truck right now, and I'm pretty sure I remember the person I got the truck from (who was the original owner) that they were the factory hubs still, I could be remembering wrong though. If the ones I currently have truly aren't the factory ones for that year, anyone know what year these white colored ones are from?

Caps are correct, the white painted lettering is not.

First photo, pair of '66 F 250, with correct boxes and part numbers, they are argent silver with red letters. Second photo, a set of nos F 250's, however, note the three alumunim- gray color caps are '61 thru '65,with correct boxes and part numbers, but the red letter cap is a '66 , it is argent silver, not aluminum- gray, like the other three..., So, the aluminum gray is the correct color for a '64. Not aware of any codes, but I would color match to a nos cap or very nice original cap.

Sounds good, thanks yall. If red was the stock color, that's what I want to go with. Just need to find out what color red now.

COLOR code M: 1961/63 Corinthian White // 1964/72 = Wimbledon White.

There was also COLOR code C = 1964/72 Pure White which is a bright white. Wimbledon is an off white, Corinthian was another shade of bright white.

1964/66 hub caps (some were painted argent), grilles, bumpers were painted Wimbledon White, but this info came from FTE members. There's no FoMoCo source for this info that I'm aware of.

I'm almost thinking pure white is the original colors in the picture of the hub caps I posted higher up in the thread. I do have the original bumpers for the truck, which I plan to repaint with the rest of the truck back to factory colors, which are Wimbledon white.

Mearntain, I believe someone added the white to that cap in your picture. As TripleFrame pointed out in 1964 the caps were just one solid argent gray with no other colors (red or white). So if you are going for the original look it would be the caps you have in the gray but no white. You can tell the white was added especially because of the white on every other low spot around the outer edge. Ford didn't do that.
