Mallory Unilite Resister
It looks like the prior owner installed a Mallory Unilite and a cermanic resister on the firewall. However the resister wire is still in place under the dash...... If the wire under the dash cuts down on the power does the cermanic hickie cut it down more?? or since it is already cut down it just sorta passes thru???
Do all FORDS have this resister wire like Mustangs and Fairlanes from around the same years???

Yes, just about all Fords with points came with a resistor wire. The second resistor is not necessary with the Unilite, the stock wire takes care of the required drop.
