Those of you who have glow shift 7 color series boost gauges what is a average reading for normal driving? Goin down the highway with the cruise set on a grade I'll get about 5psi when I really mash down on it I'll get about 20psi and under normal acceleration from a dead stop I'll get about 10psi maybe 15psi. Just trying to figure out if the gauge is accurate or if there might be something wrong with it because the truck runs and drives normal no issues. It just seems like there should be more boost to me I really don't know because this is the first time I've had a boost gauge in my truck. Trucks an 03 and I have the boost gauge reading off of the map sensor hose. Would I get a better reading if I tapped directly into the intake manifold? Thanks in advance.

Numbers will vary depending on tune and work done. Your numbers all look the norm to me. Tapping in on the MAP hose IS the intake manifold pressure.
If you want to see max boost numbers hook a 10k pound trailer behind it and smash the skinny pedal. That's when you'll build boost. Unloaded the truck is not being worked to build the heat and drive pressures to obtain max boost. Sticky veins can also impede boost numbers. I wouldn't be to concerned with the accuracy of the gauge personally. You can also compare the gauge to the MAP psi reading and see if they correlate.
