got 7.3 idi can't get started. changed oil cooler (was leaking oil) and lift/fuel pump & glow plugs. I have fuel all the way to output of fuel filter, bled all the air out of injectors, new glow plugs are all .5 ohms, got 12.6volts coming into glow plug relay w key off, but I cant seem to get 12v when key is on at the small terminal of relay with 2 red wires..manual says there's a prob between ignition switch & relay. Everything was working before I changed anything. Help
I'd wire it up to a push button or jump the solenoid with a screwdriver just to test and confirm that's your issue first, then you can start tracing the circuit. Hopefully you used motorcraft/beru glow plugs as they're the only ones that last without premature failure and swelling to the point they become stuck in the head.
I would check all the plugs under the hood mainly the big rectangle one on the passenger side of the engine for burnt wires. Check on each side of the plug with a test light, do not unplug it if it doesn't want to as chances are It'll fall apart and possibly not go back together and you'll have to splice all the wires over.
