Xfer case not shifting
99 f350...I’ve replaced gem module... the shift motor is gettin the signal to switch and it does switch when not attached to the xfer case...when it is attached it will switch to 4wd low then when ya you switchback to 4wd high it switches then when ya try to go to 2wd you can hear the motor keep tryin to switch but it doesn’t fully switch...the xfer case actually goes to 2wd but the 4wd light doesn’t go off and it keeps trying to switch...with a wrench you can turn it from 4wd low to 4wd high and it switches fine but when ya try with a wrench to go from 4wd high to 2wd it doesn’t feel like it fully turns to switch all the way...if ya leave the key on it will try to switch about 5 times every few minutes till it realizes it can’t switch...all wires have been checked and all relays have been tested...it 100% seems like it’s in the xfer case does anyone have any experience with this? And if so what rebuild kit would you suggest
