This may be dumb but I didn’t find much on what computer y’all are using for forscan. Will this one be good enough just to play around with the truck or is there a better option. Thanks!

 

Looks fine, running windows and having a USB input port for the cable is all ya need !

 

I bought a Lenovo cheapo just for FORScan because all my other stuff is Apple. Slower than slow, but eventually I was able to make changes.

 

It really depends on the OBDII device you buy. Mine is Bluetooth - no cable - so my laptop had to be Bluetooth capable. If you bought the recommended OBDLink MX scan tool with Bluetooth, it doesn't look like that computer will support it.
