I see you posted this in the '61-'66 F100 forum and were directed here to the engine forums. You hit the FE forum, right next to this one which covers the 351C. I fixed it for you, no charge.
So, can we assume you have this 351c (and it is a 351C from a car or Ranchero prior to 1974, right?) in a '61-'66 pickup?
How heavy, what gears, what transmission, what usage? If automatic, what stall speed?
What size is your current carb, and what is the issue with it?
What other engine mods--cam, intake, headers, compression, chrome valve covers--do you have?

Yes, all those questions need answered.
You say you want to stay with Edelbrock so you should call their tech line and talk to them. My guess is they will say a 650 or 750 AVS2.
I just swapped out my stock cast iron square bore 4V intake and 670 Holley for a Blue Thunder and a 780 Quick Fuel. The heartburn from the cost of those parts is still with me, but it woke that thing up, remarkable difference.

Carb question
Ok I値l need to dig into that.
it is a 1962 F100 Flareside rearmed looks stock. The 351C came out of a car. Not sure of the year. I知 not much of a gear head but will be with all your help. I do appreciate all the feedback! I知 not sure of the current cfm of the carburetor. It is an automatic.

More than Carb!
Ditto on those numbers.
From what I see in those pictures that carb is probably not all of your problems. Your vacuum advance isn't connected which will make it impossible to get a decent idle. You say you have an automatic but there is no kickdown rod connected to the carb.
The pictures aren't clear enough to tell for sure if it is a 2V or 4V engine. First thing to do is look at the top corner of the heads and see if there is a number 2 or 4 on them that has a lot to do with what kind of tune it will tolerate. You can see the 4 cast in the head in the picture.
You need to get on e-bay and buy a Ford shop manual for a 1971 Car, Volume Two engine. That way you will have all the info you need to wrench on that thing. I say 71 because that year manual has most of the info in one place instead of scattered around two or three different books.
Keep in mind that most carb problems are ignition related. And from what I see in your picture you likely have ignition problems. That distributor appears to have been converted to some sort of electronic, possibly a Pertronix.
Now for the $24,000 question dose it run and drive now?

Can't tell from the pics, but are you sure it's a Cleveland and not a 351M ? Big difference between the two. Clevelands were never installed in trucks by Ford, so of course if it were a Cleveland, it came from a car. They were only around here for 5 years, and there's a huge difference between a 70 4 bbl Cleveland and a 2 bbl 74 motor in terms of tuning and output. But on closer look, that's a 2 bbl Cleveland, the block isn't tall enough to be an M and the intake port castings aren't large enough to be 4 bbl heads. Any carb in the 600-750 cfm range will work.

Has to be a Cleveland, the 351M and 400's both had that extra piece of "ribbing"/"strength"/"gusset" just outside the distributor hole, nearest the driver side head. If you look closely at his pics, he doesn't have that piece which indicates to me it's a Cleveland. I could be wrong though.

Ok I知 making progress

I figured red out why the previous owner didn稚 connect the vacuum hose for vacuum advance. He had it turned in all the way and it was running 30 over. I back it almost all the way out. To finely get it to idle at about 8 over and no it has a little peep! Now when I rev it to 2500rpm I see the advance advancing. 30 ish over. I知 going to switch over the plugs and wires next. Thank all for all your words of wisdom!!! I値l keep posting my progress
