Front fenders - Source ?

I have been stripper the body mouldings off my truck for my paint guy this week and the front fenders need replacement
2003 Excursion - 7.3

Who has replaced these and what brand ?
A quick look had OEM at about 375 per side..

Thoughts , Ideas ?

I got a fender from a junkyard when I needed one. I think I paid about $150 but of course I had to get it painted.

Chicom fender on EBay runs about $110
motorcraft from Tasca Parts about $130

Which one do you suppose will take the least amount of prep to be paint ready ?

I see a few different types on-line , but have ZERO experience with the quality of said parts..

I don't want to spend OEM money, but still want OEM quality

my experience is that any money you save by buying a cheap import replacement body panels is quickly lost in the extra time it takes to prep it for paint.... I will go as far to say the cheap one will cost in total 2x as much as the quality part.

did you look up the fender on Tascaparts.com , that is a genuine ford part They are $130
