So recently I was hearing a winding noise in my instrument cluster in my 83 ranger where my speedometer is I asked around and I was told that it was the cable being too short. I Replaced the cable with a longer and it still makes the same noise. I also tried the new cable with a different cluster all together and still the noise was there. is there a was to figure out and or fix that whining noise?
