7.3 making intermintent noises from 35 up.

2000 f 350 7.3,138,000 making noise from 35 up. Could it be speedometer cable ? When noise happens and a bump is hit it stops. Gets worse as veh is driven. None of the gauges are affected, as is the performance of the veh. Leaving for Fl. soon towing a fifth-wheel CONCERNED.

Speedo is electronic---no cable to squeak.Not sure what else to suggest. Could u give a description of noise and area of truck that is comes from?
